About the apartment>>
The Loft is a two story home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms . It is very spacious and it has a private entrance, so it's like living in your own house!
I know for a Manhattan apartment it sounds kind of crowded but it is over 1400 sq feet and has multiple areas where in the rare occasion everyone is home, they don't necessarily need to be together. We also try to make sure prior to move in, that every roommate has an easy going personality, and a normal, new york busy schedule. So most times you'll find yourself alone in this great home. We are in a secure building with closed circuit video, built very solidly so you don't hear many noises coming from any neighbors. We are conveniently located in Manhattan (for those people who think uptown is not 'the city'). The area is a very safe family area, All of the surrounding blocks to our apartment are either schools, new condo buildings, or family houses, If you haven't ventured into Spanish Harlem and freak out every time you hear the word "HARLEM", please visit the neighborhood link to find out more about our particular section in this neighborhood. |

To move in you will need:
Security Deposit (a months rent) upon rental agreement signing.
First and last months rent upon moving in. (two months, so, by the time
you moved in, you will have paid for two months of rent plus the
deposit). Some exceptions are made in regards to the last month's rent.
Utilities are not included and they are about 60 bucks each per month it varies obviously based on the weather.
In an attempt to make sure people who move in fit the mold of what we're looking for, there are apartment rules that we all abide by. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY (CLICK HERE), Obviously there is SOME flexibility but that's the general concept of how we behave here.
Be ready to sign a copy of them with your contract. Also, cleaning fees apply to people who aren't taking care of their own mess, these may be deducted from your deposit so if you can't clean after yourself this apartment is not for you...
